The ARK-F is a fully automatic Autorefractor and Keratomer with auto start, auto chin rest adjust, auto detect, auto X-Y-Z align, auto capture, and auto eye transition. Gentle voice command guides staff and patients. There is a wide area of refraction of up to 6 mm and mire rings for keratometry which objectively measures accommodation and captures retro-illumination images. The large 7.0” LCD touch screen has a 360° swivel and tilt capabilities for versatile positioning in corners and against walls. Sharper & clearer images using Super Luminescent Diode (superior to LED). Options include a hand-held remote control for manual measurements and control from an iPad app that provides a 1-to-1 display of the ARK-F screen.

    The EyeTracking System

    The EyeTracking System provides X, Y, Z axes tracking for superior alignment and focusing. The ARK-F automatically initiates measurement at the optimal alignment.

    Accomodation

    Accomodation testing graphs the accommodation on patients especially with pre-presbyopia symptoms, latent hyperopia and children that have near focusing difficulties.

    Large Pupil Zone Imaging Method

    The large pupil zone imaging method enables the measurement of wider area refraction up to 6 mm diameter and can indicate the difference between the wide area refraction and central area refraction of up to 3.5 mm diameter. These pupil diameters are measured simultaneously. The difference of the measurement allows assessment of the effect of pupil size such as a vision in dim light.
